– a photo collage created from film frames taken in Palanga and Vilnius – two cities close to my heart. Palanga is my hometown, while Vilnius is current stop. The collage brings together characteristic fragments of these cities – recognizable views, moods, and details that seem to define their character. In the creative process, I raise questions about the meaning of word - home. Drawing from personal experience, I search for answers: is home the place where loved ones live? Is it a sense of security? A smell, a foundation, a landscape? Or is home a physical place, or a state that we carry within ourselves? This work becomes a visual reflection on the sense of belonging and its many layers of meaning.
